JOAN MILBURN

is an actor, writer, artist, and content creator based in Brooklyn. She graduated from Southwestern University in 2019 with a degree in acting and playwriting. Joan has also trained with the National Theater Institute, The American Conservatory Theater, The Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland, and with the Powerhouse Theater as a 2019 playwriting apprentice. Since graduating, Joan has been seen onstage with Shakespeare Dallas, Millennial Poison Theatre Co., The Tank, Sensible Shoes Productions, and The Chain, and has acted in multiple television projects, short, and feature films. Her writing has been produced with The Stage Writer's Festival, Paper Kraine, Little Fish Theatre, and The Resilience Theatre Group. When she is not acting or writing, Joan also creates content on both Tiktok and Instagram for a combined audience of almost 200,000 followers. Joan also has a passion for education, teaching theatre and visual art part-time in several NYC afterschool programs.
